1. Who we are and who these terms are for

Codegrain Reports is provided by CODEGRAIN S.R.L., a company registered in Romania ("we", "us"). Registered office: Str. Izvorului 46, Camera 3, Ap. 24, Constanța, Romania. Company ID (CUI): 54921110. Trade Register No. J2026039341004. Contact: andrey@mail.codegrain.dev.

These terms are an agreement between us and the business that uses Codegrain Reports ("you"). Codegrain Reports is for business use only, not for consumers. By paying through our Stripe payment link or by connecting your Jobber account to Codegrain Reports, you accept these terms on behalf of your business, and you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

2. What the service does

Codegrain Reports connects to your Jobber account with read-only permissions. Every night, and when you press "Sync now" (at most once every 15 minutes), it copies the data the reports need into our database. Your reports are in a web dashboard:

  • a revenue forecast based on scheduled visits;
  • revenue by category;
  • commissions, by quote approval date and by invoice date;
  • unpaid invoices by age;
  • what happened yesterday (approvals and payments).

You can download each report, and all your synced data, as Excel (XLSX) files. The files also open in Google Sheets.

Setup. Before you pay anything, we help you connect your Jobber account. For the setup fee we agree on your revenue categories (from your product and service names, their type, or one custom field) and your commission rate, set them up, and check the first reports with you.

Pilot. The service is in a pilot. Access is by invitation only, and reports and features may change. We will tell you about important changes before we make them.

3. Your Jobber account and your data

  • You need an active Jobber subscription. An admin of your Jobber account has to approve the connection. Categories from a custom field need a Jobber plan that includes custom fields.
  • Jobber shows a standard screen when you connect. Before you connect, we send you a short note that explains this screen. Our Jobber app has not been reviewed or approved by Jobber.
  • You are responsible for having the right to share your Jobber data with us. This includes telling your customers and team, in your own privacy notice, that you use service providers like us to process their data.
  • Jobber controls its own API and can change, limit or stop any app's access to it at any time, without notice to us. If that happens, parts of the service may stop working, and we will tell you. If we can't restore the service within 30 days, you can cancel, and we will refund the unused part of any fee you prepaid.

4. Prices and payment

  • Pilot price, for our first three customers: setup $300 per Jobber account, one time, then $49 per month per Jobber account. Your $49 monthly price stays the same for 12 months from the day your subscription starts. After that, price changes follow the notice rule below.
  • Standard price: setup $500 per Jobber account, one time, then $99 per month per Jobber account.
  • When you pay for setup. We email you a link to pay the setup fee after an admin of your Jobber account has approved the connection and the first sync has finished. If we don't finish your setup within 30 days after you pay, we refund the setup fee in full (see section 5).
  • When the subscription starts. The first 14 days after we finish your setup are free (see section 5). On the 15th day we email you a link to pay for the subscription. Your subscription starts on the day you pay. If you don't pay within 14 days after we send the link, the service ends and we delete your data as described in section 7.
  • Prices are in US dollars. You pay by card through Stripe. The subscription is paid each month in advance and renews every month until you cancel.
  • The payment appears on your card statement as CODEGRAIN REPORTS.
  • Prices don't include taxes. If we have to charge a tax, we will show it on the invoice.
  • We will tell you about a price change at least 30 days before it applies to you. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change.
  • If a monthly renewal payment fails and is not made within 14 days of our reminder, we may pause syncing until it is paid.

5. Free period and setup fee refunds

The first 14 days after we finish your setup are free, and they are also your refund window. We tell you by email on the day we finish your setup. The 14 days count from that day.

If Codegrain Reports is not useful to you, email us within those 14 days, and we will refund the setup fee in full. Your subscription then does not start, and we delete your data as described in section 7.

If we don't finish your setup within 30 days after you pay the setup fee, we refund the setup fee in full. The service then ends, and we delete your data as described in section 7.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Monthly subscription fees are not refunded, except as stated in sections 3, 6 and 12.

6. Cancelling

  • You can cancel at any time by emailing andrey@mail.codegrain.dev, or through a billing link if we send you one. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. You keep access until then. We don't refund part-months.
  • Disconnecting Jobber does not cancel your subscription. You can disconnect at any time from your dashboard ("Disconnect and delete") or from Jobber. Syncing stops and we delete your Jobber data (section 7), but billing continues until you cancel as described above.
  • We can end the service with 30 days' notice. In that case we refund the unused part of any fee you prepaid. We can suspend or end the service at once if you seriously break these terms, for example by not paying or by trying to reach other customers' data.
  • After the service ends, we delete your data as described in section 7. Download anything you want to keep before then.

7. Your data

  • You own your data. You allow us to use it only to provide Codegrain Reports to you: syncing, storing, building reports and exports, and support.
  • We don't sell your data, don't use it for advertising, and share it only with the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
  • When you disconnect, we delete your Jobber data within 24 hours (details and exceptions are in our Privacy Policy, section 6). Encrypted backups are overwritten within 7 more days.
  • If the connection stops working and you don't reconnect, we delete your data after 14 days.
  • After you cancel, we delete your data within 7 days after your last paid period ends.
  • If the service ends in another way, we delete your data within 7 days after it ends. This covers a setup fee refund (section 5), a subscription link you don't pay within 14 days (section 4), and an end of the service by us (section 6).
  • Section 12 sets out how we process personal data on your behalf.

8. The numbers are as good as your Jobber data

  • Reports show your data as it was in Jobber at the last sync, normally overnight. We don't check or correct your Jobber data.
  • Some figures follow our rules, and each report says which ones. For example, a visit on a fixed-price job is valued at the job total divided by the number of visits. Commissions use the rate you set, and categories use the rules we set up with you.
  • Jobber doesn't tell apps about visits cancelled before you connected. Cancellation history starts on the day you connect.
  • Jobber gives apps only the latest approval date of a quote. If a quote is approved again, the reports use the newer date.
  • Codegrain Reports is not accounting, tax, payroll or legal advice, and we don't guarantee the financial accuracy of the reports. Check important numbers in Jobber before you pay commissions, file taxes or make other decisions based on them. If you find a difference, tell us and we will look into it.

9. Availability and support

We aim to update your data every night and to keep the dashboard available, but during the pilot we don't guarantee any uptime. The dashboard shows when your data was last updated and warns you if it is more than 26 hours old. Support is by email at andrey@mail.codegrain.dev. We usually reply within 2 business days. This is a goal, not a guarantee.

10. Fair use

Use Codegrain Reports for your own business. Don't share your sign-in, resell the service, try to reach other customers' data, overload or probe our systems, copy or reverse-engineer the software, or use the service to break the law.

11. Not affiliated with Jobber

"Jobber" is a trademark of Octopusapp Inc. (doing business as Jobber). Codegrain Reports is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or reviewed by Jobber. Jobber is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for our service. Your use of Jobber is governed by your agreement with Jobber.

12. How we process personal data for you (data processing terms)

This section applies to the personal data in your Jobber data (your clients' and team members' names, linked to amounts, dates and statuses). For this data you are the controller (GDPR) and we are your processor. Where the CCPA applies to you, you are the business and we are your service provider.

  1. Instructions. We process this data only to provide Codegrain Reports to you: syncing, storing, building reports and exports, and support. We follow your instructions. These terms, your settings and your written requests are your instructions. If we think an instruction breaks the law, we will tell you. If a law requires us to process the data in another way, we will tell you first, unless that law forbids it.
  2. Confidentiality. Every person who processes the data for us is bound to keep it confidential. Today that is only our founder. Our founder uses an AI assistant from Anthropic to help run and fix the service. When it helps fix a problem, the assistant can see this data in logs and database records. Anthropic handles what the assistant sees under its own terms (see our Privacy Policy, sections 7 and 8).
  3. Security. We protect the data as described in section 9 of our Privacy Policy.
  4. Subprocessors. You agree that we may use the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. Each provider that stores your synced Jobber data (today only DigitalOcean) is bound by written data protection terms, and we remain responsible for its work. Anthropic does not store a copy of your synced Jobber data, but its AI assistant can see parts of it when our founder uses it to fix a problem (item 2). We will email you at least 14 days before adding a provider that would store your Jobber data. If you object, you can cancel, and we will refund the unused part of any fee you prepaid.
  5. Helping you. We help you answer requests from people whose data you hold (for example, an export, or deleting specific records within 30 days). We also help you meet your own security and data protection duties, as far as is reasonable.
  6. Incidents. If a security incident affects this data, we will tell you without undue delay after we become aware of it.
  7. End of service. We delete the data as described in section 7. Before that, you can export it.
  8. Proof. On request, we give you the information you need to check that we keep to this section. We answer written questions first; an audit beyond that is at your cost and with reasonable notice.
  9. California. We don't sell or share this personal information. We don't keep, use or disclose it for any purpose other than the purposes in item 1, or outside our direct business relationship with you, and we don't combine it with personal information from other sources. We comply with the CCPA duties that apply to us and give this information the same level of privacy protection that the CCPA requires of you. You may take reasonable steps to check that we use it in line with this section (see item 8). We will tell you if we can no longer meet these duties. After telling us, you may take reasonable steps to stop and fix any use that breaks this section.
  10. Where. The data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Transfers to providers outside the EU are described in our Privacy Policy, section 8.

13. No warranties

As far as the law allows, we provide Codegrain Reports "as is", without warranties of any kind, including warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

14. Limits on liability

As far as the law allows:

  • neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost business opportunities;
  • our total liability for all claims related to Codegrain Reports is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

15. If someone makes a claim against us because of your data

If a third party makes a claim against us because you didn't have the right to share data with us, or because you broke these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. The courts of Constanța, Romania have jurisdiction. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Before going to court, we both agree to try to solve the problem by email for 30 days.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date. For important changes, we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then. If you keep using the service after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms. Price changes follow section 4.

18. Everything else

  • These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Codegrain Reports.
  • If a part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
  • You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent. We may transfer it to a company that takes over Codegrain Reports, and we will tell you if we do.
  • These terms are written in English, and the English version applies.
  • We send notices by email: to your billing email address, or to the address you gave us in writing.
